The second version, the Enterprise Edition, is high-end and has no price tag (which is like the classiest thing ever). It basically means that in order to get a price indication you must present quite a lot of information about your business and expected volumes of products, sales and traffic. Ergo, price offers vary and might go up as high as tens of thousands of dollars and that’s a huge effort for most people.

With the Enterprise Version, Magento performs all the set-up work. However, you’ll still need your web specialist or your own, amazing knowledge to participate and supervise the process.

CONs:

- Magento approach for big sales and richness of features can be overwhelming for small business. You might start thinking that yours is not big enough and that pattern of thought is never good.

- Upscale level coding knowledge or experienced web specialist is needed to set up the store properly, which may add a lot to the budget.

AS AN ABSOLUTE, INDISPUTABLE CONCLUSION – WHEN TO GO FOR MAGENTO?

  • Go for Magento if you are looking for a distinguished and exceptional e-commerce platform with enterprise level software for large corporation or faster growing sales.
  • Go for Magento if you are looking for an e-commerce platform with countless features. Seriously, don’t count them. You’d lose track of time.
